2. Although this album in EJ's massive catalog is often over-looked besides the hit "Hey Jeannie", this was a a great creative time for Elton & Bernie on the reunion album. Kicking off with the rocker "Chasing The Crown", this album was a departure and a growth into the 80's/5(86).

Whereas "Bohemian Rhapsody" follows the traditional bio-pic path, "Rocketman" does not, and cannot be relied upon to be an accurate reflection of Elton John's musical career (example: it shows Elton performing "Crocodile Rock" at one of the famed LA Troubadour shows, a song from several years later that he didn't perform in ).

8. To some people, Sir Elton John never bettered this double album from For others, it's a patchy album loaded with hits in the first half and full of filler at the end. For me, it's up there with some of the great entertainer's best work and for the life of me can't see where there is ANY filler or sub-par songs/5(1).
